For my Tarot project
Card 2: The High Priestess
Theme: Hippie
Like with the Magician, I pretty much used the traditional format for this piece, including the pillars and scroll, but I gave the priestess a much more flower-child-y look than she usually has, which I think fits with the divinatory meanings of wisdom, contemplation and mystery. I changed the papal headwear into a crescent moon, because that makes more sense for a hippie. The letters 'B' and 'J', traditionally written on the pillars, were changed to the Thai letters 'bor bai mai' and 'jor jan', much for the same reason- also, the letters of the Thai alphabet all have meanings, and these mean 'leaf' and 'plate' respectively- though 'jan' can also mean 'moon'- so again, thematic.
I went a bit mad with the bright colours, but I'm happy with the result.
Im a professional rainbow collector so I thought I'd share some of my finds from my favourite folder = R A I N B O W S A must see for all colour loving beings
I posted on the forum asking people to show me their green deviations and I got a lot of very good green deviations. Please show your support for these artists by faving their art and faving this article.
